On this Inspiration Tuesday we have the Presidential Election taking place here in America. Normally I don’t get into politics because we all have different reasons why we think a particular party or person is best suited to govern our country. Also I don’t believe that we actually pick the president. Our votes are given to the elector(s) for our state and that elector is suppose to cast his/her vote according to the popular vote in his/her state. There are 538 electors total and 270 of them is needed to declare which person will be the next president. So the most important election day to me is actually voting for your states Electoral College member. However, I’m not here to sway your decision on voting either way. We are all given a choice and I believe you can choose to vote or not vote. This can be a very stressful time of year and whatever you decide just make sure it’s what you truly want to do and not because you feel pressured to do so. And should you decide to vote do your research first and pick candidates that match YOUR values. No matter what you decide Have an Amazing Day!
