Texas usually doesn’t get snow and ice during the winter. Coming from MI, I appreciated the mild winters. But these last couple days we have had really cold temperatures followed by ice, hail and now snow. Our internet is down (I’m typing this on my cell phone) and at some point our power will be out intermittently per our Electric company.

Despite these conditions, my family and I are all safe and we have everything that we need. During this time we won’t be posting on the website for a couple days.
