My son enjoys playing basketball (click the word “basketball” to see today’s video). Me personally, I’m a football guy. When he was younger he played football on a team and I was the coach. But over time, my son stopped playing football to play basketball. Truth is he only played football for me. Yesterday, my son asked me to play basketball with him, I didn’t let our differences stop me from the opportunity to spend some time with him. As he’s growing I want to spend as much time with him as I can. One day he’ll be grown and living on his own. Some opportunities we may never get again.
When opportunity knocks will you take the shot? Every day that you wake up is an opportunity to get closer to your children. To get closer to your spouse. To write that book. To apply for that job closer to home, start that business, create the prototype or start that garden. What ever the opportunity before you is, you must be willing to take the steps to obtain it. I need you to just AYG – Activate your greatness. Find out what’s (or who’s) holding you back from being the best version of you. Then take action! You can do this, I believe in you!!
