Basketball players have a choice to go to different teams when their contract is up or they have certain contract clauses that will allow them to leave early (click the word “choice” to see the video). You have a choice everyday that you wake up. You’re a free agent everyday that you wake up. Anything that you choose to do, will manifest only if you’re willing to work for it.

Sports fans get excited when their favorite basketball or football player becomes a free agent. What if you had that same excitement about your own life? What if you were that excited about choosing the teams in your own life? The team of individuals you build your business and brand with. The team mate or personal relationship partner you tackle life with. Choosing the career or job that you’ll “play for” or use your skill sets for. You may not be a NBA or NFL player but you’re a free agent every day that you wake up. You have a choice to choose the direction of your life.

So what will you choose to do today to get to your goals and dreams? You aren’t tied to a contract with any one (unless your married and that’s another post). You can resign from that job that isn’t a good fit any more. You can walk away from toxic relationships. You can choose to exercise more or less. You can choose to change your eating habits. You’re a free agent, take time to sit down and look at your game plan. Rewrite the play book if you have to and then take action!
