In today’s video (click the word “video” to see it), I take notice of what seems to be a drainage ditch. I walk pass this area often on my walks but today I saw water flowing through it and decided to go check it out. The flowing water felt very tranquil and calming as I watched it flowing so freely. This is so beautiful to me!!
The ditch didn’t seem so beautiful before the flowing water. I believe it’s the way the water made me feel that makes it so beautiful. The calmness and tranquility in the water reminds me of my relationship with my higher power, which I call God. Having a personal relationship with Him gives me the same peace and calmness. He assures me that even in the mist of the storms in my life I can still experience calmness and peace within.
In this time of quarantine, what are you experiencing that brings about a peace and stillness in your life? Are you meditating? Reading? Taking walks? or Taking baths? Take the time to stop and enjoy the simple things in life. Stop and look for the beauty all around you. What is beautiful to you, may not be to someone else and that’s okay! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!
